Saturday, November 30, 2019 is Small Business Saturday (SBS).
The Hilton-Parma-Hamlin Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a second “Treasure Trek” to inspire shoppers to come into Hilton for gifts, services and dining. It is entirely about YOU and YOUR BUSINESS!
The Treasure Trek is a campaign in which the Chamber purchases a large ad in Suburban News, identifying the participating businesses where shoppers can go for deals, coupons, specials, surprises, or giveaways. A Trekker can pick up a Trek card at any participating Chamber-member business, and get a small sticker from any participating business they visit on that Saturday.
NOTE: Only Chamber member businesses can be starting locations. We will promote them specially. ANY business in the area can participate, member or not. We hope you will see great value in Chamber membership (the application form is available on the website at HPHChamber.org.)
These businesses are committed to participating so far:
M&T Bank, Learn All Things Digital, Heart of Hilton Gift Shop, Hilton Family Pharmacy & Coffee Corner, The Arlington, Jose Joe’s, Integrated Physical Therapy, Integrated Massage Therapy, Parma Public Library, Bozza’s Pasta, Parma Kids Child Care-Parma Christian Fellowship Ch., The Town of Parma, The Village of Hilton, Shear Emotion, Marilyn’s Learning Farm, Hilton East Assisted Living, Signs, Garments & More, and Schum & Werner. So that’s about 17 different locations so far.
We’d LOVE to have you be a part of it, if you’re a Hilton-based business. (We’ll get to Parma and Hamlin once this strategy proves valuable.)
The GOAL is to have people cross the threshold of your business and get a sticker. How YOU connect with those threshold-crossers is totally up to you!
Put out snacks.
Hand out overstock.
Have a “Come Back By Christmas to Shop” coupon or deal.
Shake people’s hands and welcome them.
Have a BOGO sale.
Make up your own gift basket and get names and addresses directly.
Whatever you want to do.
You can put any item into the main Gift Basket at M&T Bank to be awarded to one or more persons by random drawing of their Trek card on Monday, December 2. We will have all the cards, posters, stickers and drop-off boxes supplied for you.
